St. Martin's Market

To ring in the winter season, Satzvey Castle is hosting a magical evening with an atmospheric lantern festival for the whole family.

With cozy warmth, fresh bread on a stick, and hot mulled wine, you can linger in the afternoon and early evening on the romantic castle grounds while browsing the pre-Christmas St. Martin's Market.

The will-o'-the-wisps invite you to sing along. They accompany traditional songs on medieval instruments. Sing-alongs take place at the following times:

2:30 p.m.

3:30 p.m.

4:30 p.m.

Led by St. Martin on horseback, the procession will make its way to the St. Martin's bonfire in the castle park at 5 p.m., where the beggar will also be waiting for him.
